Great app, needing a little work. I love the way you can track what you spend, on what you spend it, currency used, automatic conversion to user currency, auto updating of currency rates and simple to use. The downside...Theres no sorting, all new entries appear at the top of the list. It does allow manual sorting. However, when editing an entry, it pops it back up to the top. The categories are limited and fixed, so they cant be edited or added to. The ability to add/edit categories plus auto-sort, would make this app a 5 star.

Bought this because of a e-zine review. Its OK, but sure lacks any WOW factors. One of my biggest complaints is that there seems to be no way for the app to use your existing location. So if you add a trip or want to look at currency, you have to find the country you are in. The app needs to use location! Same thing with the translator--you have to again scroll to find the country you are in. Second, for Asia at least, the translation is in written form. Hello becomes written Japanese, Korean, Chinese, etc. script. Obviously it isnt anything you can say to a person. There is no speed function to speak it, and no information on how to speak it. Google translate at leasts speaks the word. So for "Good morning" I get おはようございます for Japanese, and not Ohayōgozaimasu that Google Translate gives (Ohio goze imus as a rough approximation). Third, if you add a trip and want to set up Foreign currency, you have to scroll through all the currencies of the world. That takes quite a bit for even the Japanese Yen. Plan on scrolling a lot for Vietnam. This needs a search box to make it easier to select currencies. Same problem with the Currency Converter. There are many currencies that seem to be missing. I say "seem" because without a search tool, I had to scroll many times to look for them. I could not find the very popular UAE Dirham in the list. Sadly I see no way to add a currency. Overall this is primarily an expense keeper tool. It has potential, but lacks a lot.

I downloaded this app and it will not open at all on my iPad. Very disappointed.

Pros: Easy to use, intuitive, graphically pleasing to the eye Cons: Pls fix trip start date bug. For example, I have to choose 5 Jul in order for 4 Jul to display. Also, there are not enough categories to pre-select. I always have to board my pets prior to a trip (this category is missing); also missing "Cruising" as a form of transportation. This could be a really great app, but the developers need to query some travelers to improve their perspective of what the customer wants in a travel expense app.

Planning a trip to Dusseldorf, all over Italy and London. This app has made the planning a breeze. Tried many, definitely the best I found.

I use this app both while traveling and at home. It makes it really easy to organize all of my expenses and he layout of the app is very clear and nice to look at. The pie chart is really nice too! The only thing that I would like is to be able to create my own categories for the different types of expenses.

Not user friendly. Great idea! But needs a lot of work.

Does what I need it to which is track expenses. Fairly intuitive interface and easy to use. Cant say I am in love with the design...fake wood or something but it does not affect its usefulness. Really the only thing I can think to improve is to update the "skin" or look of the app. The dark brown reminds me of really old software from the 90s.

I am using the current version to plan our upcoming trip and record my pre-trip expenses. The app is easy to use and has a good look to it. Looking forward to using the app instead of writing everything down in a notebook while traveling. Nice job!

Please create to input the receipt photo and the amount would be copied automatically. And separate the categorize each item automatically from the receipt. I still do not see iPhone and iPad sync yet...???

This is a very easy to use and basic expense record with great features such as instant currency conversion, easy data input and editing. I have tried other apps and this one fits my basic needs. However.....what it is lacking is editable categories....almost a deal breaker. And I have found no way to sort expenses automatically either by date or category....almost a must for this type of app. I can rearrange expenses manually but it is tedious and I would expect a basic function as sort to be a part of a paid app. Other than that I will continue using but those two missing functions are why this app is missing two stars.

Concur with the very limited utility here... Cant sort by date?? This doesnt do much more than a word doc list!

I have been using this app on my current trip to Europe and it is very helpful. I like it very much. My suggestions for improvement are two: First, I have been using the trip items for each stop during my trip in Europe. I think it would be nice if the items would automatically arrange by date rather than just in the order I enter them. Or better yet, if you could rearrange them yourself with a slider. I dont always enter items in the order they occurred, it would be nice to be able to rearrange them after entry. Second, since you provide the ability to categorize expenses, it would be cool if you could see total expenses paid by category during or after the travel. Just my two cents- I really like the app!
